Diabetic Retinopathy is an ocular complication which causes damage to blood vessels of the light sensitive tissue of retina.

RISK GROUP

It can develop in anyone who has Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes duration of 10 years.

SYMPTOMS

No early symptoms noticed.

As the condition progress symptoms include:

• Floaters
• Flashes of light
• Wavy vision.
• Ocular pain
• Vision loss
