Sharon – aged 20, was admitted with severe head injury in the Lakshmi Ayurveda hospital Tripunithura, on 15 /06/ ‘18. He had met with an accident two months earlier and had availed treatment at a multi speciality hospital in Ernakulam where they had performed Tracheostomy. After two months of hospitalization, the patient was admitted in Lakshmi Ayurveda Hospital, Tripunithura ,At the time of admission, patient was bed ridden, food was administered through tube, catheter was inserted. Patient had lost speech faculty, suffered occasional convulsions and was disoriented. At Lakshmi, he was put on Thalam first, followed by Nasyam, Abhyangam, Dhara and Kizhi supplemented with internal Ayurvedic medicines and Physiotherapy. 
Patient regained speech on 17/07/ ‘18. He has begun to walk with support, He was discharged fit and fine.
