KIZHI

In this treatment the whole body is made to perspire by the external application of medicated packs in the form of boluses tied in cloth bags.The packs are made up of :

rice (njavara)
herbal leaves (elakizhi)
herbal powder (podikizhi/kadikizhi)
lemon (naranga kizhi)
eggs (muttakizhi) etc.,

These are effective in Muskuloskeletal disorders,degenerative conditions and Neurological problems.

NASYAM

Pouring medicated ayurvedic oil or other prescribed medicines into the nasal cavity.

Used for treating

Migraine
Cervical spondylosis
Facial Palsy
Frozen shoulder
Manasika

SIRODHARA

Sirodhara involves gently pouring medicated liquids, medicated milk or buttermilk over the forehead.Variations include:

Taila dhara:
Revives the symptoms of anxiety, stress, fatigue, headache, Insomnia, hypertension. It regulates mood and gives feelings of pleasure and relaxation.

Takra dhara:
Effective for Psoriasis,Insomnia and Manasika rogas.

Kashaya dhara & Dhanyamla dhara:
Effective for both body and head.

ABHYANGAM

General body massage with oil suitable for one’s body.

Abhyangam improves blood circulation and stimulates internal organs.It softens and smoothens skin,reduces effects of ageing and fatigue.

PIZHICHIL

A speciality Ayurvedic treatment with exemplory benefits.

The medicated oil for the massage therapy is squeezed from a cloth dipped in the warm medicated oil over the patient’s body.

Effective in Paralysis, Rheumatic diseses, Spondylosis, Degenerative conditions and nervous disorders.

VASTHI

Process of administering medicines through anal route. A very effective panchakarma treatment,has an amazing power to control and eliminate vata disorders like

LOCALISED VASTI TREATMENTS

Lukewarm oil made to retain over the affected area within a boundary made of herbal paste or cap.
